Zaia Lawandow is Head of Investor Relations for Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (Nasdaq: CSSE) where he serves as a member of the corporate finance leadership team and oversees the company’s global investor relations program. As head of IR, Zaia leads all investor and analyst communications, investor positioning, and strategic initiatives while serving as a key advisor to the senior management team on capital market and corporate development initiatives.
Zaia has extensive experience building IR programs from the ground-up and leading them through significant corporate transformations. Before joining the company, he built and led the IR program at Redbox Entertainment from its public listing to its merger with Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment. He began his career in IR at Lionsgate, shortly after its acquisition of Starz, where he helped build an Institutional Investor ranked top 3 IR program. His areas of expertise encompass ad-supported streaming, subscription streaming, television and film production, and theatrical distribution. Previously, Zaia worked in the capital markets division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch before joining the equity research division at Sandler O’Neill, now Piper Sandler.
Outside of work, Zaia volunteers his time as a founding member of the Young Professional’s Council for International Medical Corps. He studied economics and Middle Eastern studies at Loyola University Chicago and currently resides in Los Angeles.
