Biography

Marisa Famulare is Chief People Officer for Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, Inc., overseeing all people functions for the company. She joined Chicken Soup for the Soul LLC in 2020 as Head of People Operations. She brings three decades of experience in media and entertainment. Prior to Chicken Soup for the Soul, she spent almost 20 years at Home Box Office, Inc., holding a number of HR executive roles, including the most recent as Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Administration responsible for overseeing Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Business Services & Security. Before joining HBO, she worked at A+E Television Networks, where she held various HR positions. She holds a BS degree in Communications from St. John’s University, has served on the board of C2HR and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
